Can we have more kindness ?

There is hunger for ordinary bread, and there is hunger for love, for kindness, for thoughtfulness, and this is the great poverty that makes people suffer so much." Author:Mother Theresa Can we have more kindness in the world ? Instead of all this violence ,wars .... How world would be much easier to live in if we all have some more kindness to each other . Not only overall but let's start with small steps . Look around maybe there is a lonely soul that wish that someone will talk to it . Maybe in your family you often forget to say I love you (say it like you mean it ! Not with artificial smile on the face )I realized that in this culture we became so tight up inside so close in our world that we don't see people around .One day I took a train to NY I realized that on three seats often is one person or two .That is how uncomfortable we feel being too close to a person . I was mad since I definitely did not want to stand (normal a man should get up and let a woman seat ,but this barely happen this days . So me and my friend set next to a man and I just realized how uncomfortable he felt that he had to pick up his peaces of newspaper and let us seat next to him .(Well this is life I have a ticket also and it doesn't mean that he needs to take three seats . ) Anyway what makes me upset is how often we easily judge others .I was seating on the bench in the park when a mid aged man pick up half drink water from garbage and someone's food leftover and just eat it . I've heard two very well dressed women, one with her poodle on her lap saying that this is really disgusting .Well it wouldn't be if she could just take some dollars and buy some food for this poor man .Instead criticism . Mother Theresa said that if we ever see a homeless person drunk or sick just remember this person is our brother in Christ and maybe the reason why he is like that because he never felt love buy anyone . So let's have more kindness in our families and in the world

Born into brothels great documentary movie ! (2004)

In India, red light districts are booming in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, and Calcutta where millions of transient men live and work far away from their homes and wives. The oldest and the largest of these is Sonagachi in Calcutta where the women have organized into a sex trade union of more than 5,000 active workers and have spread awareness about AIDS and HIV, making Sonagachi one of the few red light districts in the country that does not accept clients without condoms. Subject to a class system that puts them on the lowest rung of Indian society, the mostly illegitimate children of the sex workers are also expected to "join the line" when they reach a certain age. Minor girls are the most sought after in the brothels and secure the highest price, making it very difficult for the parents to let them leave, especially when the only other alternative may be the starvation of their entire family. In 1997, photographer Zana Briski was assigned to capture images of Sonagachi. While the women were reluctant to let her into their lives, the children quickly responded and Briski became a resident of the brothel for five years. During that time, she provided the children with point and shoot cameras, set up classes in photography, and trained them to document the harsh reality of their daily lives. The result is the Oscar nominated documentary Born Into Brothels, a film that takes us inside the squalid brothels and allows us to see the world through the eyes of some of its most vulnerable residents, five girls and three boys, ages ten to fourteen. Shot in dazzling color using a digital camera, we get to know the children through their photos. There is Kochi, age 10, who is strong, resilient, tough, and sensitive. Avijit, age 12, seems to be the most talented of the group. He draws, paints, takes pictures and, through Briski's patient efforts, was able to obtain a passport to be a part of a photo-editing panel in Amsterdam. Shanti, age 11, is most eager to learn but is troubled and often feuds with her brother Manik. The others: Gour, Puja, Tapasi, and Suchitra all show a unique ability to find beauty in their ugly environment. The film documents Briski's uphill efforts to place the children in boarding schools to escape the cycle of poverty and exploitation. Some manage to find places in the schools but the biggest obstacle is shown to be the children's own mothers and guardians, often protective out of the sheer necessity for survival.Born Into Brothels is a testimony to the transforming power of art and of one individual's ability to make a difference. Showing the children's art to Western audiences has helped to raise money for the Sonagachi children's education. It may also serve to make people more aware of the potential talent of millions of other third world children who struggle daily for existence on the streets, the orphanages, and the refugee camps of our teeming world

Buddist Monks and Christ

Recently a friend of mine told me that she attended Teaching of a very known Buddist Monk .Supprisly the buddist monk first words to all the christians there were come back to the church . He always mention Christ as the most holy person and everyone should take example from him especialy from his love ,he also mention Mary, as the most holy and full of love .I was very suprised about that .I did some seraching and find out that Budism has alot of similarity to christianity .And guess what >>...... at the place of teaching and meditation there is a painting of Jesus i trust you ! (All the monks know the story of sister Faustyna ) they always say to the catholics who are complaining about our religion .To seek deeper meaning of their faith .And not to try adopting only items from their religion that they like and ignore other rules .You `can't change religion If you catholic be catholic to the fullest . Can I said to all the Christians out there ... take example from the Monks .

It's so great to seat on the clif close eyes and just listen the sound of ocean . Feel the breeze on the face and the last sun kisses . ....... God created the perfect world we just need to remember not to destroy it .(Acadia park is one of the place when you can find some peace and connected with your soul)
